Same day courier, explained simply
A same day courier is the simplest kind of delivery there is. One driver, one van, your item. We pick it up from you and take it directly to where it needs to go. It doesn't sit in a depot overnight, it doesn't get passed between vans and it doesn't go on a tour of other people's drops first.
That matters when the thing you're sending can't wait. A signed contract that has to be on a desk by 3pm. A replacement part for a machine that has stopped a whole site. Keys for a tenant who is standing on the doorstep. Samples for a client meeting tomorrow morning. If it's urgent, you want to know exactly who has it and where it is.

How pricing works
We don't publish a fixed price list, because every same day job is different. Instead we price each one on what it actually involves, and we tell you the full price before we set off.
Once you've agreed the price, that's what you pay. If anything changes on the day, we'll talk to you before it affects the cost.

Collect right now, or later today? The tighter the window, the more planning it takes.

Size and weight
An envelope fits in any van. A pallet of stock or a heavy part may need a bigger van or a second person.

Waiting time
If the driver needs to wait for something to be ready or signed, we'll agree that up front.

Road charges
Routes through the Congestion Charge zone, ULEZ or over the Dartford Crossing are taken into account, and we'll be clear about them in your price.
How a same day job works
You tell us what, where from and where to. We confirm a price and a collection time. The driver calls when they're close, collects the item and heads straight to the delivery address. Once it's handed over, you get the name of the person who took it and a photo. That's it.
If the delivery address is closed or nobody answers, the driver will call you rather than leave your item somewhere it shouldn't be.

How quickly can you collect?
It depends on where our drivers are at the time you call. Often we can collect within a couple of hours, sometimes sooner. We'll give you an honest time when you get in touch, and we won't promise one we can't keep.
Do you stop at a depot on the way?
No. Your item stays in the same van with the same driver from collection to delivery.
How do I know it's been delivered?
The driver takes the name of the person who received it and a photo on drop, and sends these to you as soon as it's done.
Can you deliver outside London?
Yes. We're based in London but same day runs can go anywhere in the UK that can be reached in the day. Tell us the address and we'll confirm.
Is my item insured while you have it?
Yes, goods are covered while they're with us. If you're sending something of high value, tell us when you book and ask us for the details of our cover.
