Delivery van on a motorway heading out of the city
The service

Long distance and UK wide, explained simply

Long distance jobs need more planning than a local run. We work out the route, the timings and the rest breaks before we set off, so the driver arrives safely and on schedule. Your load stays on one van with one driver the whole way, with no transfers in between.

We do long distance house moves, student moves, deliveries to family, business stock runs and one-off collections from across the country. If you've bought something from the other end of the UK, we can go and fetch it.

You'll have the driver's number and updates on the way. If anything changes, like heavy traffic or a road closure, we'll tell you straight away.

  2. 02

    Size of load

From a few boxes to a full house.

  3. 03

    Time on the road

Longer trips need planned breaks, and very long ones may need an overnight stop.

  4. 04

    Tolls and crossings

Dartford Crossing, toll roads and city charges along the route.

  5. 05

    Access at both ends

Stairs, lifts and parking at the collection and delivery.

Planning a long distance move

Long moves work best when both ends are ready. Make sure you'll have the keys to the new place on arrival, and check whether there's somewhere for a van to park close to the door. If the new property is a flat, ask the landlord or managing agent whether the lift needs booking.

On the day, we load in the morning and head straight off. The driver takes the breaks the law requires and keeps you posted on progress. If the trip is too long to finish safely in one day, we'll agree a plan with you in advance, including where your belongings stay overnight. They stay locked in the van, not unloaded at a depot.
