European deliveries, explained simply
European jobs aren't part of our everyday work, so we treat each one on its own merits. Some trips make sense for us and some don't. The quickest way to find out is to ask. We'll give you a straight answer, and if it isn't something we can do, we'll say so rather than keep you waiting.
Since Brexit, moving goods between the UK and the EU takes more paperwork than it used to. Depending on what's going and why, you may need a customs declaration, an inventory, proof of residence or other documents. We'll talk you through what's likely to be needed for your trip, and you'll know before you commit.
Typical requests include furniture and belongings for someone moving abroad, items for a holiday home, and goods for a small business with customers on the continent.

How pricing works
European trips are priced individually once we know the details. There's no standard rate, because no two trips are alike.
Give us as much detail as you can, and we'll come back with a price or let you know if it's one we can't take on.
- 01
Destination
The country and town, and the total distance there and back.
- 02
Crossings
Ferry or tunnel costs and the time they add.
- 03
Load
The size of the load and whether it needs two people.
- 04
Paperwork
Customs declarations or agent fees, depending on the goods.
- 05
Time away
Longer trips mean overnight stays and more driver hours.
What to tell us when you ask
The more we know, the quicker we can give you an answer. Send us the collection address in the UK and the full delivery address in Europe. Tell us roughly what's going, with photos if you can, and whether it's personal belongings, gifts or goods for a business. Let us know your ideal dates and how flexible they are.
We'll look at the route, the crossing and the paperwork, then come back to you. If we can do it, you'll get a clear price and a plan. If we can't, we'll tell you straight away so you can make other arrangements in good time.
Common questions
Anything else you'd like to know? Call or WhatsApp us and we'll give you a straight answer.
Which countries do you go to?
It depends on the job and our schedule. Tell us where you need to go and we'll confirm whether we can help.
Do I need customs paperwork?
Usually, yes. What's needed depends on the goods and the reason they're travelling. We'll explain what's likely to apply to your trip before you book.
Can you collect from Europe and bring items to the UK?
Possibly. Send us the details and we'll look at it the same way.
How much notice do you need?
As much as possible. European trips need more planning, so the earlier you ask the better.
