The service

Furniture and single item delivery, explained simply

Online marketplaces are full of great finds. The problem is getting them home. A sofa won't go in the back of a hatchback, and most delivery firms only deliver what they sell. That's where we come in.

We collect single items and small loads from sellers, shops, auction houses and family members. Your item is wrapped in blankets, strapped in the van and driven straight to you. If it's heavy, we send two people so it can be lifted safely, up the stairs and into the room you want.

It's also the easy way to send a piece of furniture to someone else, whether that's a wardrobe to a grown up child's flat or a dining table to a buyer.

Pricing

How pricing works

Single item deliveries are priced on the item and the journey. Send us a photo and the addresses and we'll come back with a clear price.

Check the item's measurements against your doorways before we collect. It saves everyone a headache on the day.

  1. 01

    Size and weight

This decides whether one or two people are needed.

  2. 02

    Distance

The miles between collection and delivery.

  3. 03

    Stairs and access

Floors without a lift, narrow hallways and tight corners.

  4. 04

    Timing

A fixed time slot, evenings or weekends.

  5. 05

    Extra work

Dismantling, reassembly or taking away an old item.

Buying second hand? A few tips

Ask the seller for the measurements and the floor the item is on, and whether there's a lift. Check whether anything needs taking apart, like legs on a sofa or doors on a wardrobe. Agree a collection time with the seller and share their number with us, so the driver can call ahead.

When we arrive, we'll check the item matches the listing and take a couple of photos before we wrap it. If something doesn't look right, we'll call you before we load it, so you can decide what to do. For appliances like fridges and freezers, let them stand upright for a few hours after delivery before switching them on.

FAQs

Common questions

Anything else you'd like to know? Call or WhatsApp us and we'll give you a straight answer.

Can you collect from a Facebook Marketplace or eBay seller?

Yes. Pay the seller first, share their address and number with us, and let them know we're coming. We'll check the item matches the photos before we load it.

Will you carry it upstairs?

Yes. Tell us about stairs and lifts when you book so we send enough people.

Can you take my old sofa away at the same time?

Often, yes. Let us know when you book and we'll include it in the price.

What if the item doesn't fit through my door?

We'll try removing feet, doors or legs if it's safe to do so. Measuring beforehand is the best way to avoid this.
